The Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster marked a significant milestone, celebrating ten years of success in the beautiful setting of Villa Angiolina in Opatija. This important anniversary brought together the Cluster’s members, partners, and friends to celebrate a decade of dedicated work, collaboration, and remarkable achievements.

The Cluster’s President, Assoc. Prof. Vladimir Mozetič, MD, PhD; the President of the
Assembly, Prof. Viktor Peršić, MD, PhD; and one of its founders and members, Prim. Vlasta Brozičević, MD, specialist from Poliklinika Terme Selce, reflected on the Cluster’s early days, highlighted its growth and accomplishments, and shared their vision and plans for the future.

The celebration provided an opportunity to reflect on the journey the Cluster has taken and express gratitude to those who supported the vision of positioning Kvarner as a leading destination for health tourism. Recognition was given to all those whose hard work and dedication contributed to the creation, growth, and success of the Cluster.

The anniversary was further marked by the presence of distinguished guests, including representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and Sport of the Republic of Croatia, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Croatia, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, the Croatian National Tourist Board, the Health Tourism Association of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, as well as the mayors of Rijeka and Opatija.

A special thank you was extended to the Cluster’s partner, the Kvarner Tourist Board. This anniversary not only celebrates past successes but also marks the beginning of exciting new opportunities and projects that will continue to strengthen health tourism in the Kvarner region.
