Organized by the Polyclinic Terme Selce, the 1st International Congress Terme Selce will be held on Friday, 13th of May, starting at 10 AM. Hotel Katarina in Selce will host many national and international speakers and participants, who will be able to expand their knowledge of the present and future of corporate wellbeing.
The Terme Selce Congress is being held as a continuation of 23 educational webinars with 700 participants from companies from which the already known knowledge about the health problems faced by various profiles of employees has been confirmed. Therefore, the goal of the congress is to improve the health culture in companies through education and special health and wellness programmes to increase efficiency and productivity at work, while linking programs with the microclimatic benefits of the Crikvenica Riviera. Also, at this congress, a SELCE MEMORANDUM will be created with recommendations for companies, in order to include caring for the health of their employees in their strategies.
Assist.prof. Vladimir Mozetič, MD, PHD, MHA, Cluster President, also expressed his support for the congress: “We believe that the 1st International Congress Terme Selce will provide many benefits and new knowledge to all participants and we are glad that as a Cluster we have the opportunity to participate in this event and witness the raising of quality and culture of health. “
The concept of the 1st International Congress Terme Selce includes three hour-long panels in which representatives of relevant companies will participate, presenting their experiences. At the end of the programme, a workshop will be held on the topic of designing the workplace of the future. The initiative of the Polyclinic Terme Selce to carry out activities in the field of employee health in companies is of special importance today, and an excellent introduction to the entire congress programme was given by Prim. Vlasta Brozičević, Head of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of the Management Board, who emphasized the following: “To take care of your health, start exercising for at least 3 minutes a day.”
Along with the Polyclinic Terme Selce, the company Virgin Pulse, a global leader in improving health through online platforms, also joined as a co-organizer.
