Background: The European telemedicine market, valued at €11.6 billion in 2020, is projected to reach €27 billion by 2025. Despite the sector’s growth, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, a significant barrier remains: the lack of IT training for healthcare providers. The European Commission and WHO have both emphasized the need for structured telemedicine training to harness its full potential.
TEAM aims to promote innovative learning in digital health and telemedicine, develop flexible learning pathways, align with global best practices, address barriers like limited digital literacy, enhance cross-sectoral collaboration, and empower students in countries with urgent healthcare demands.
Countries involved: Belgium, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Ukraine, and Romania.
The TEAM project is an international collaborative initiative co-financed by the European Union, involving six European countries (BE, SI, HR, EL, UA, RO).
