The Association of Croatian-American Professionals (ACAP) organized the seventh conference in Zagreb, which took place from July 6 to 8, 2023. The three-day conference called “Connecting the Doers: Taking Croatia to the Next Level” and this time as well did not disappoint. The first day of the conference was dedicated exclusively to the domain of healthcare, and the building of foundations for healthcare and tourism, the development of strategic and effective partnerships in Croatian healthcare industries, the feasibility of international clinical trials and cooperation on improving the sustainability and resilience of the healthcare system were considered.

The president of the Cluster, Assoc. Ph.D. Vladimir Mozetič, MD. participated in the first day of the conference as one of the panelists. The theme of the day was related to ideas of development, i.e. “unlocking” the potential of Croatia towards a healthier lifestyle. Doctor Mozetič was one of the speakers on the topic “Building foundations in healthcare and tourism“ and also the moderator of the “Lifestyle Symposium”, a pre-congress that took place on July 5.

A member who also participated in the unforgettable weekend of networking, learning and exchanging ideas was JGL, which was also a gold partner of the conference. The rich three-day program included presentations, panel discussions and interviews in which various experts from all parts of the world took part. Topics included health, tourism, new business paradigms, economic change, and climate change innovation.
