On April 15 and 16, 2024, the Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster took part in the high-category event The “Health Tech Hub Styria 2024 – Future in Diagnostics and Therapy”, which is focused and dedicated to future-oriented health technologies. The conference was held in Graz. These are the numbers: over 300 participants from 17 countries; representatives of 85 companies, 56 start-ups, 31 universities, 29 research institutes; 12 panels, about 60 lecturers, numerous B2B meetings.

Kvarner Health, University of Rijeka – EDIH-Adria and Regional Development Agency Prigoda shared a stand with the BioCentre from Zagreb (director Marija Lovrić) and the Entrepreneurship Center of Krapina-Zagorje County (director Helena Matuša) to hold B2B meetings.

On the second day of the event, Damir Medved / director of EDIH Adria, Vedran Kružić / director of RDA Prigoda and Vladimir Mozetič participated in the panel entitled REGIONAL SPOTLIGHTS: STAY CONNECTED IN THE ALPS-ADRIATIC REGION with the lecture: “Connection of stakeholders in Primorje-Gorski kotar County/ Croatia through common RIMAP platform as a showcase for the whole Alpe-Adria Region”.

We presented the development processes of the health industry development strategy of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, and the RIMAP platform as a basis for a possible future ALPE-ADRIA MAP platform, a place of interest gathering of all stakeholders within various economic areas, including health.
