The Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster appeared on May 10, 2024 at “Invest in Zagorje”, a conference held in the Entrepreneurship Center of the Krapina-Zagorje County. This year Conference was dedicated to the topic of health tourism.

Cluster participated in the panel discussion called “Green Health: Synergy of rural and health tourism”, where the president, Assoc. Ph.D. Vladimir Mozetič, MD., performed on behalf of the Cluster. It should be noted that some of our members also participated in the conference. In the same panel discussion, a member, Policlynic Terme Selce, led by prim. Vlasta Brozičević, MD, Ph.D. took part while the panel discussion on the topic of sports revitalization was attended by M.Sc. Iva Brozičević Dragičević, also from Policlynic Terme Selce. For the panel discussion on strengthening dental tourism in the heart of Croatia, Mr. Emil Gršković from the Orto Nova Dental Medicine Center took part. All the speakers gave a first-hand insight into their professional thinking about everyday business and thoughts about the future of health tourism in Croatia.

With the possibility of numerous opportunities for B2B meetings and a total of 4 panel discussions, the organization was also focused on the competitive part. In the first part of the day, the competition was focused on the ideas of young people, called “Create your future”, where various topics on innovative improvements for health tourism were presented. The end of the day was dedicated to the second competition block, in which the jury chose the best start-up, also related to the topic of improving health tourism.
