Kvarner Health Tourism Cluster with members Jadran Galenski Laboratory, Polyclinic Terme Selce, Thalassotherapia Opatija, Special Hospital “Dr. Nemec ”and Specialty Hospital Medico, as well as about 10 other health institutions from Croatia, are actively participating in the economic delegation at the world exhibition EXPO Dubai 2020 from January 31st to February 3rd as part of Health & Wellness Week. The economic presentation in question is jointly organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Croatian Chamber of Economy, with the participation of State Secretary, Tonči Glavina, and the presidents of the CNTB and the Croatian Chamber of Economy.

The central event of the visit was a specialized business workshop on health and wellness tourism, organized by the CNTB in the Croatian pavilion Croatia inspiring great minds, and opened by State Secretary Glavina. As part of the business workshop, the president of the Cluster, assist. prof. Vladimir Mozetič, MD, PhD, MHA, gave a presentation on the health and tourism offer of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County to potential partners and colleagues from the international market. The present members of the Cluster have the opportunity to hold about forty business meetings with potential partners through a B2B workshop.

The World Exhibition EXPO 2020 Dubai is one of the largest global events of economic and cultural importance, in which 192 countries participate, presenting their offer in the field of art, music, architecture, sports and wellness, science and culture. For the Republic of Croatia, this is a unique opportunity to present its entire offer to a multimillion audience, numerous businessmen, investors, international institutions, the diplomatic corps and others. During the world exhibition, numerous business meetings, events and diplomatic meetings will be held, and the Republic of Croatia will present itself under the theme “Mobility of the Mind”.
